Treadmills have several benefits over traditional running and walking. Sure, you don't get to walk outside in nature, but you can escape poor weather and other risks that come with leaving the house, such as traffic and bystanders. It's far more soothing to be able to concentrate on your jogging without having to keep your thoughts and one eye on possible hazards.
Aside from that, there are several other significant advantages. The ground remains at the same level during the run, so you don't have to continually alter your running style. Instead, you may build up a pace and then keep going. Furthermore, the run is always at your preferred speed, which you may modify at any time. However, if you wish to go uphill, you may do so by simply modifying the machine's gradient.
Another advantage is the quantity of data you can collect about your running: because the machine is determining the pace, it can automatically compute things like the amount of energy (calories) you have expended. When you run, you may also connect yourself to various monitors like heart rate monitors, breathing monitors, and so on to monitor all elements of your health.
One of the nicest things about running inside is that you won't be bored since you may watch TV or read a book while doing it. Treadmills, despite their soothing nature, are a more effective form of exercise than some sophisticated cardiovascular activities. If I had to choose between going into unusual postures and contorting my body into strange forms and merely running on a treadmill, I know which one I'd pick.
